Yang Yoseob recently appeared in KBS 2TV’s “100 out of 100 Points” and with his small face, he unintentionally humiliated the other guest stars.

Guests who also appeared as students on the show, SG Wannabe’s Lee Suk Hoon and Simon D, were most humiliated. Because Yang Yoseob sat in between the two, as they sat, their face sizes couldn’t help but be compared.

On the 9th, BEAST had raised the hopes of the fans by revealing a teaser video for the ‘Lights go on again’ song with a ballad feel. In addition, the release of the teaser for ‘Beautiful’ didn’t let down any of the hopes from the fans as well.

In the ‘Beautiful’ music video, the ‘pet-idol’ and ‘boyfriend-idol’ charms of the BEAST members were displayed clearly. At the start of the music video, Lee Kikwang enters the classroom shyly in his glasses and a school uniform showing off the “shy student” feel flawlessly. BEAST’s Yang Yoseob supports his fellow member Lee Kikwang.

 

On the episode of MBC’s Thursday/Friday drama, ‘My Princess’, that aired on the 7th, Yang Yoseob sang the OST ‘I Cherish That Person’. This ballad is an outstanding song sung with Yoseob’s distinctively sweet voice.

Lee Kikwang is currently casted in ‘My Princess’ as a chef named Kwonie, who has feelings for the princess Lee Seul (Kim Taehee). The fans that heard ‘I Cherish That Person’ commented, “It is huge that Yang Yoseob is singing an OST while Lee Kikwang is acting” and “Yang Yoseob’s vocals are shining’.

BEAST(Yoon Doojoon ,Yong Junhyung, Jang Hyunseung ,Yang Yoseob ,Lee Kikwang ,Son Dongwoon) performed ‘Beautiful’ on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’(MC SHINee Onew, Minho, T-ARA Jiyeon, Miss A Suzy) broadcasted on December 4th.

On these day, BEAST performed in an amusement park instead of ‘Show! Music Core’ stage. BEAST showed more of lovely aspect in the outdoor amusement park which was decorated for a Christmas Event.

BEAST is expected to have their first solo concert in Seoul Jamsil Gymnasium on December 12th. BEAST’s Yang Yoseob can’t go to sleep?

After debuting last year with the song ‘Bad Girl’, BEAST had released 4 albums and had been continually fulfilling activities with barely any time to rest. They are currently active with the title song ‘Beautiful’ promotions, Lee Kikwang is busy with MBC ‘Sunday Sunday Night – Hot Brothers’, Yoon Doojoon is busy with the MBC sitcom ‘All My Love’, and despite all these personal schedules, they are also preparing very hard for the solo concert that will be opening on the 12th.

Since they only have about 2 hours of break time, many of the members fall asleep in the times between their schedules; however Yang Yoseob is attracting attention as he is the only one not sleeping during these times. Lee Kikwang commented, “Since Yoseob is the vocal, he tends to have the higher parts. So whenever we travel, when others are all sleeping he is the only who doesn’t. Since he worries that his throat will close when he wakes up from a nap, so he purposely doesn’t sleep because of this fact.”

Yang Yoseob stated, “I can’t do anything about me worrying. Even in practices, I am the type that works towards perfection. That is probably why I lost so much weight.” In addition he added, “I had no idea that we was able to release so many albums this fast in such a short time. I am happy that the songs came out good as much as I work hard for it. Since there is still a long way to go, I will show better sides of myself through my effort.”

Recently, BEAST had successfully completed their Japanese showcase and will be opening their first solo concert ‘Welcome To Beast Airlines’ on the 12th.

‘I want to sing a remake of the The Deep Night Flies during a concert.’

Beast’s Yoseob revealed his thoughts on taking on the challenge of being in a musical during the press conference for ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ at the Sejong Center in Seoul on the 21st of March.

Yoseob said, ” I felt very nervous and worried when I joined the musical. In order to avoid destroying these precious classic songs at such a large venue, I didn’t think much about it and just paid my full attention to singing them. I hope everyone will understand.”

He stated, ” The moment the songs played, I felt wobbly on my feet. He also expressed his ambition, “I was so nervous that I reached a stage where I couldn’t remember my lines and how I was supposed to act. After performing many times repeatedly, I hope to work hard and become a better actor.”

Yoseob also said, ” It would have been great if I had been able to sing a happy sounding remake of composer Lee Young Hoon’s song The Deep Night Flies during Beast’s encore concert. “, thus expressing his liking for the song.
